Wonderful! This is a very good painting. It's allready very good the way it is, but I also see a big potentional for something even greater! If you only worked a tiny bit more on the shading and details. ;)
The composition is nice, but if I should be picky then I'd have to say that I don't like how the torch go paralell into the outline of the dark figure in the background. ;)
The anatomy is good but the collarbones needs a bit extra attention.

I love the colors and how this painting seem to be like a scene from a movie. Great job. :)

Thank you for the encouraging critics, I noticed the problem abaut the torch too.
I'm going to fix it...
Usually, I picture the scenes in my mind as a movie scene, like you stop the movie when you are watching it and get the frame.

I visualize things in the same way, Giskar, which makes it unfortunate that I am not--and don't have the patience to be--an animator. :p
I love that you put a variety of hues into the skin. There are some areas of nice subtleties in coloration, such as on the spear.
It's a good idea for a scene, but I think a more dynamic angle or dramatic lighting situation would invite the viewer to experience the action more intimately and with more interest.

I think it is superb. Not perfect (SandraS pointed out the anatomy issue) but it is really well composed and very well painted with nice details. I like it.

cool work man. love how the spear is right in your face. Maybe hands a little too small? 8/8

Very nice work. The lighting and tones are great. I really like the way you did the musculature though. I think the rendering could be a bit more defined though; it some places it feels a bit sketchy.
